Subsequently, Chairman Cai made a detailed introduction to our company’s development history and recent updates, and the progress of the Indonesian project. Over these years, Lygend has established the nickel cobalt project on Obi Island, Indonesia by pooling resources from different stakeholders, and mastered a full range of nickel product manufacturing processes, including RKEF and HPAL. By setting industry records constantly, Lygend has proven itself through practical actions, won the recognition of the market and the industry, and fully demonstrated its composure in making strategic choices, and ability to integrate industry ecosystems and create value for the industry. Currently, the KPS Project (RKEF Phase II) which is progressing steadily has been included in the list of achievements in promoting Belt and Road construction in Zhejiang Province.

Yu Wanke, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Ningbo Branch of Agricultural Bank of China – the lead bank of the consortium, thought highly of the brilliant achievements made by Lygend Resources in the past 15 years. The KPS Project consortium composed of Chinese financial institutions would provide more professional and efficient services, and serve as a strong backing for Lygend Resources and Ningbo’s local “going global” enterprises to compete on the higher and broader international stage, he said.

Subsequently, Chen Haolong, Deputy General Manager of the Business Department of the Ningbo Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, shared the experiences and gains from his field visit to the Indonesian project, and provided detailed explanations on the terms of the consortium loan.

Dai Xiuli, Vice President of the Ningbo Branch of Bank of China, and other attendees conducted Q&A and detailed communication on the project. The meeting came to a successful conclusion in a pleasant atmosphere.

Leveraging the strong momentum of the Belt and Road Initiative, and fully empowered by financial partners and capital factors, Lygend Resources will certainly turn the KPS Project into another benchmark project for private enterprises going abroad.
